Yeah, sure, I didn’t accomplish what I wanted to on my surprise 3 days off vacation. But I did beat Donkey Kong Country 3 AND Forbidden Solitaire. And both were really fun! So I’d say it was time well spent.

Spending my day off playing Kingdoms Of The Dump got me reminiscing on all the weekends of my childhood spent playing Breath of Fire or Final Fantasy III. Good to see games like this are still getting made.

Okay…okay…how do I psych myself up for a live art/mini convention tonight when I’m so very, very tired?

Most of the time, I feel like I don’t speak the same language as other people. Like I’m on a different wavelength. But seeing the love for Umihara Kawase fan art has me feeling like maybe I’ve found my people.

Looks like I might be back at the factory before the year ends. It’s a step up from the job I have now. But it’s really hard to get excited about it.

I never miss the R&C gang more than at 11:30 at night. When I’m drowsing and the intrusive thoughts invade. And I want to discuss them and work through them with my girls. But I’m too old and tired for late night writing. So I just get ready for bed, missing my imaginary friends.
