I'm recently back from Camino, walking 25-30k each morning with all my stuff on my back. On average, I covered about 9k every 90 minutes. Walking.

I'd like to see the data on that. There's plenty of British "expats" (immigrants) in Spain who would have voted Leave.

It's a hard one. For me anyway, the Scotland we want to build is for the people who live here & the test for Scottish citizenship is if you want to be Scottish. But when over 500,000 from other UK decided the No vote, it's hard. I knew folk in Aus/NZ/US/Can who came 'home' to vote No. Hard to take.

It's also bullshit on both counts. While Castro did live a life of relative luxury, the propaganda that he amassed a billion dollars worth of personal wealth has been well debunked. And Russia hasn't been communist for about 35 years, and certainly hasn't been for any of Putin's rule.

Clear astroturfing.

We were talking about this today, how we have histories and songs about people not only showing up to hugely outnumber fascists, but knocking hell out of them as well. How is it that we can clearly understand that this was the right thing to do then, but then say it wouldn't be right now?

Wait, there are normally unions paying for stalls at Reform and Tory events? Seriously? I mean I know it's 30 years since even Labour listened to unions, but why would they ever have been at right-wing party gatherings?

I bought FM24, and abandoned it to go back to FM20. Don't tell anyone, but I still play FM13 too.

I don't see much difference in process here. Both parties have moved significantly right, and purged MPs who tried to resist it. Most European countries (even Scotland) have some sort of 'social democrats' alongside Greens on the left. But now England doesn't.

This threw me at first, too. At first I was reading "you need to do more than that to call yourself a lefty", but the message is actually "you shouldn't need to be a lefty to point out fascists". Very fair point, sorry for being daft 😂
