Someone on one of the Traveller boards pointed this out and now I can't unsee it.

Got an email from Harvest this morning (SaaS app I use to track time for work) to let me know that under their new plan, my annual fee will go from around US$160 to US$1,160. A *thousand dollar* increase!!! Sure I can downgrade to my usual price point. But WTAF?!?!

That is some outstanding GMing right there. I salute you! I am also stealing this snarky sword idea for a future game 🙂

As well as setting my OOF to stop a day or two after I got back, a couple of times I used "I will not be reading or responding to emails sent on days I am away." Ruffled some feathers, that one. But coming back to work and simply deleting all those emails felt fantastic.

Yes! I'd do the same, though not quite as long.
