I think that's right. The line between pursuing and not pursuing is hard to figure out, plus all of this isn't based in any particular text. So SCOTUS is really backing away from what was (in my view) pretty settled law allowing federal courts to keep cases in circumstances like this.

I couldn't quite understand what it was. I think their exam software was down, but it's really a terrible result.

I would return to biglaw for half of that and then promptly unreturn and find an island in Scotland to sit on permanently.
