contemplated again today about whether im scared of risks and being vulnerable for a relationship or if im on the ace spectrum or just both and then i thought about rocky phm and got so happy and full of joy i felt like the propeller dog

i dont think streamlining the story or letting players play out of order would be a good idea because the story was quite literally never meant to be played that way and thats ok. that is literally why we have the new game plus option, so you have the freedom to skip but go back and play msq later

i think the most important thing to remember when debating whether ffxiv needs a streamlined msq option or the ability to pick and chose which expac to play next is that ffxiv is a final fantasy game FIRST and just happens to be an mmo.
