Lost and abandoned, the sound of the night is broken by the baying of hounds and the bellow of a hunting horn- sounds which stir an awful familiarity in his memories.

Finished revisions for chapters 6 and 7 this morning! Need a little break, but I'm going to try and start chapter 8 today. Tomorrow I have a bunch of errands to run but if I'm lucky, maybe I'll finish this revision pass tomorrow.

It was disappointing and sad. I also refuse to support AI being used as a weapon by corporations to further devalue the arts and other forms of labor.

I also believe that human beings have a fundamental need to create. AI takes the act of creation away from people. I have actively seen people turn to AI for writing (non-commercial) and watched over a year or two as their ability spiraled downhill until they couldn't engage in their own creation.

#summerofstories That's a hell of a prompt! To put it as succinctly as I can, I believe that the human connection between artist and viewer/reader/listener/whatever is a fundamental part of art that cannot be duplicated by machine. I refuse to participate or support AI use in the arts.

Calling it a day with chapters 4 and 5 revised, chapter 6 nearly there. I need to flesh the end of it out a little more, but I think I can get 6 and 7 done tomorrow with a little luck. On track to be done with revisions by Friday!

Bartender name Rat with blue hair and piercings does a much better job at crisis management.

This is a really hard question for me because I... don't generally know what's happening except in a vague way until I write it so everything is kind of a surprise. My outlines are suggestions at best. I did replace the cops in FLESH with a friendly bartender instead and the story is much improved.

I think it really depends on what you mean by 'amateur'. Kind of like indie books, there are services now that help produce small batch games with good quality. Depending on what you can afford to invest, I would make the game how you want to make it and charge what you need to.

Later in the series she did, it's the first time I learned about ghostwriters. There's like... somewhere going on 100 books in it!
