Great question. TNG Warbirds seem gigantic, but the Enterprise D seems a lot larger than the TOS Enterprise. I think you’ve got a pretty good size in the comparison image with the BOP. But feel free to make it as big as you like. The windows I put on it should NOT be used as a guide. 😉

Thanks for noticing the multi-level bus thing. Seattle has some double decker buses (or at least it used to when I lived there), so I thought it might make for an interesting spaceship design.

I think this is a pretty harsh judgement of folks who want to make art that pleases themselves and others. Not every artist needs or even should be making A BIG STATEMENT. Like the vast majority of those we consider “masters” from history, most artists are creating their best works for commissions.
