Monstrousness and Humanity What are people getting at, what do they think they recognize when they call something monstrous? I think I have a useful answer to this question, in the sense that it can be distinguished from all the monstrous misuses of the term monstrous. /1

Competent larger than life villains only exist in fiction. All real life evil is cartoonishly incompetent. It's their fanboys who talk them up in fake histories.
