Actually, that's not fair. Static recomps are my new way of playing all N64 games.

Mystical Ninja is one of the few N64 games I own physically... but the static recomp that came out a couple of months ago is my new preferred way to play that one.

Yeah, specifically the Windows version of Xenia Canary... with some patches for this game. I can typically maintain 45fps, with it not dipping below 30fps.

According to Console Wars by Blake Harris, in the pre-Sonic days of the Sega Genesis, Sega REALLY wanted their American division to make a Sgt. Kabukiman video game. A few of their execs saw it, and thought it'd make for a great game for the American market, not knowing Troma was a niche brand here.
