It’s not Wednesday but I haven’t shared a WIP for ages. So if anyone is curious about my foray into a different fandom, this is a little snippet. Some Eight/Fitz pining that Fitz absolutely is not going to acknowledge as such

I’m approaching my new fic like an assignment. So far I’ve reread Interference (1 & 2), Ancestor Cell, The Blue Angel, Escape Velocity, The Year of Intelligent Tigers, and Fear Itself. Now I’m on Time Zero. There is a method to this. I’m revisiting specific scenes and plot points. Plotting.

I seem to have fallen back into an old fandom, which means I’m writing an incredibly niche fic for a tiny audience. All of which is to say, my A-Z fic is probably going to be my only RA for a bit. I’m not out of this fandom, of course, but I am on holiday

So, I’m in in a sort of … dilemma. About a year and a half ago I got very overwhelmed with everything that was happening in my life and didn’t have the capacity to keep up with ao3 comments. This has left me with a lot I never replied to and I’ve always hated that I fell so far behind.

I’m in this one and it’s a fantastic project with incredible talent all around. I’m so excited for people to see it!

Today was my birthday and apparently is also the day I decide to start posting on this app again. I am still in the fandom, this just hasn't been my best year creatively so far. But I'm in a couple of upcoming projects and working on some things slowly, so stay tuned for that!

I'm working on a new long fic for 2026. Like A Momentary Radiance, I won't release any of it until it's done, but it's a true AU and very different from any of my other fics. I'm hoping to have it done by the end of winter to start posting in a couple of months!

These are my ao3 stats for 2025! In 2024, I wrote about three times this much, but still. 76k words in a year isn't bad! And I have plans for 2026, so stay tuned for that.

I'm working on a fic for Christmas. It's not Christmas themed in the slightest, but I want to release it on the 24th, so that makes it a Christmas fic by force of technicality. One more story to wrap up 2025 and then we're off with a whole host of new things!
