This year so far…

My husband and friends from college are flying down this weekend ahead of Grand Slam and the Grand Prix. I am soooooo excited to finally introduce them (Steve especially) to my adopted Mexican family. It feels kinda like introducing family to your in laws for the first time 🥰🇲🇽

Definitely got a few tacks in the arms (my entire forearm hits the mat on a count, not just my hand). Some glass shards too. I had to dig Tomasso's arm out of some barbed wire from the table, so thankfully the gloves made that less painful.

Technically I worked with both Canadiens mascots this weekend...

They were the standard kind of work gloves you buy at your local hardware store. I had a feeling they would be better than the nitrile ones we normally have

I am far from an expert hahaha. I don’t know the answer but I would assume they continue to function the same

Some people do, but it’s controversial whether or not oysters are vegan. They don’t have brains or nervous systems, which means they (likely) don’t feel pain. I don’t know how long they live, and I’ve found a few large ones nearby, so keeping them around just to filter water is a huge benefit
