I did extensive research for my fic because I wanted the ages, and what information they had access to, to be accurate.

For her to be 17 in 2012, she would have to be born in 1995. This also means she was trying to figure out being trans in an abusive home in Missouri, with access to image boards like 4chan based on information we've been given.

Jax entered the circus 5 years prior to the events of the show, which takes place in 2017. This means Jax entered the circus at 2012. We also know that when Jax entered the circus, she was 17. All of these numbers are confirmed when the characters discuss their ages in the show.

If you as a Zoomer find the experiences of the nearly all millennial cast relatable, I'm glad you found that representation. But it shows how well your own experiences compare to ours. Millenials are the generation that was constantly gaslit and blamed for everything our elders inflicted on us.

I think this bugs me a lot. The cast of The Amazing Digital Circus are all Millenials or older. Not a single one of them is Gen Z. You're allowed to still find them relatable. But if you've convinced yourself they're Zoomers you're literally just wrong. This is not a generational story for Gen Z.

They're not Gen Z. Jax is the youngest, 22, as of 2017. She was born in 1995. Gen Z didn't start until 97. None of the cast are Gen Z. They're all Millenials except for Kinger, who might be a young Gen X. Jax would be 31 in 2026. I'm only 2 years older than Jax.

Agreed. Jax isolated Ribbit by accident in trying to avoid her. Ribbit chose not to ask for help and let herself spiral and self isolate. Just as an example.
