Been listening to the tracks I've encountered so far and man this soundtrack is an all-timer It hits different when playing too cus they make every track feel SUPER dynamic as you go through the actual level They cooked so hard, it's crazy

Part of the reason I dislike DS2 so much while loving DS3 so much is that DS2 completely fumbles the theming and vibes it's going for in my opinion, whereas DS3 feels rock fuckin solid on what it's trying to get across That and yknow. The movement and attacks in DS2 just feel really, really bad

I think more people would actually "get" the Iron Keep/Earthen Peak thing if there was actually more examples of that happening, but it's kinda the only time they get really wacky with the world and how places connect to each other in surreal, dreamlike ways

Like I just kinda shrug at the "Iron Keep above Earthen Peak" thing because yeah it's funny but it's clearly purposeful, because they're going for the whole dreamlike thing Whereas my personal take on it is they didn't do stuff like that nearly enough lmfao

I can see the argument for ditching defensive playstyles in these games, Bloodborne and Sekiro feel great in part because of that, but you cannot be constantly policing players who DO want to play defensively because it's lame as fuck
