On a much needed birthday vacation to the Canary Islands! Usually my partner Ismar and I go on a city break, exploring cafes and museums – so a lazy stay by the pool is something completely different! 🌈

It doesn’t matter if it’s a terror attack or queerphobic comments in the street. We cannot let hate stop us from living our lives out loud. I will always wear makeup. And I will always be proud of who I am. This is our city too. #Berlin

A guy in the street saw my makeup, called me a slur, then ran away across the road – only to almost get hit by oncoming traffic. Not sure what to make of that experience, to be honest.
