Ok I just looked them up. They look like they've made a bit of a splash. The 1966 Headstones(great name) from Texas pre-dated grunge by a couple of decades. They have been called garage/psychedelic/fuzz. Great regional small label stuff. Seattle which gave birth to grunge also promoted local
