Skeptic (not a cynic or a denier). Explaining critical thinking, and debunking irrationality since 2005 but the responses from the clueless get no better. CA Bay Area. Retired. Amateur photographer. Despises MAGA.

"Success depends on the full commitment of all parties. Verifying Hamas’ compliance will be a significant challenge. Israel would need to eventually withdraw from Gaza." - I think I see a couple of flaws in this plan

I was SO SHOCKED that Donald Trump was boorish, dishonest, disrespectful of the First Amendment, and rude to journalists! Why, I never--in a million years--would have guessed any of that. (And *my job* is knowing such things.)

Jesus what a ridiculous article "[MAHA] has shown that people are hungry for a movement that fights for their health visibly, loudly, and in plain language." MAHA is doing no such thing. MAHA is anti-science, which will not improve anyone's health. Who the hell is editing The Atlantic articles?

David Gorski, MD, PhD

JFC, not this nonsense apologia again. Making this argument two years after RFK Jr. co-opted the A MAHA slogan as his personal brand to distract from his antivax history and help elect Trump again is embarrassing…for Spencer and The Atlantic.

The legacy media has shown no signs it will ever "learn who Trump really is."

"I understand journalists want to be neutral. But if you're a journalist in the US, you have an obligation to be biased— in favor of democracy. And Trump is anti-democratic... The longer the press pretends that Trump is not an enemy of their profession, the more runway he has to undermine them."

The one decent joke last night was about the regime that relentlessly attacked America with the punchline that it was CBS. It failed bc Trump doesn’t understand jokes and so has no comic timing. His idea of a joke is calling someone fat. The idea of setup / punchline literally makes no sense to him.

I can't believe they were able to hold the correspondents dinner last night without a ballroom 🤷‍♂️

Is there a list of the "journalists" who attended this shameful suckup dinner last night that can be published to shame these morons?

Exactly. How hard is it to refuse to accept non-answers and keep asking the same question? So frustrating.

Barb McQuade

It’s so refreshing to see a senator who knows how to ask questions. Too often, witnesses deflect and the senator moves on. Ossoff does what a good trial lawyer does—persists until he gets an answer or a refusal to answer. Both responses can be deeply revealing.
