Ew. The debasement is beyond cringe.

77°, 100% humidity here this morning. Going to feel like 112° today. Ugh. Lots of birds yelling happily. Lots of bugs singing their bug songs. Not a bad start to the day. I see autumn on the distant horizon; it'll be great when it's here.

Man, I grew up on a farm. We had animals to take care of, crops to manage, a huge garden, just lots of chores. Plus school. Yet we still had time to do laundry and take a shower. Wtf. This dude is just gross.

We've got Hawks and owls in the forest we live in. Our princess of a cat truly believes she could be a wild outdoor kitty and is very offended that we force her, against her kitty will, to stay in the house. The birds would love for her to join them.

Respectfully, they can't hire good people to do the work they're doing. This is exactly the kind of person you'd expect to be in their hiring pool. His background fits the job description.

We've got Freya the cat, a rescue from Arizona. A bunny that lives somewhere about halfway up our driveway. One of approximately 3 million chipmunks that live around our house and in the forest around us. Finally Astrid the dog, a rescue from our local shelter here in TN.

I like living mostly in a forest. We were very fortunate to locate this place at a time we could afford it.

Lawrence is one of my favorite places, bar none. Wonderful city, great people.

I picked up Jim Rose of Circus fame at the Austin airport for a show. He asked me to volunteer to take part. How could I say no? I got to be a human dartboard at a Freakshow Festival! People threw darts at a target I was holding over my back. Most missed. I'd do it again.

When I was in college many years ago I worked at a pizza place and my roommate worked at a taco place. We'd both bring home uhhh leftovers and sell them from our dorm. We're also got a thrifted Xerox copier and undercut the school library. It was a good racket until the school shut us down...

The Neverending struggle of needing to be the center of attention but being scared because you've made yourself the center of attention. Oh, the humanity...

It's gotta be stressful to live life in such terror. I'm 56, I've lived in Oakland, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Phoenix. I've spent time in most of the scary big cities and never had a single issue. Most everyone I know would say the same. There are stupid people, yes. But it's not scary out there.

I'm so happy we're getting a WaWa about 10 miles from us here west of Nashville. I moved from Lower Bucks County 19 years ago and still miss WaWa.
