That's bc humans for some weird red line between ourselves and animals... We are only "more intelligent" in the fact that we have the capacity to have things like morals and other complex brain systems that aren't utilized in the wild... domesticated brain can make a big difference

The worst part about this is that kids are being taught to rely solely on the internet for research purposes and not being told to look at external sources like books (newer Elmo's World segments were encouraging kids to "look it up" with the tablet character. which means Internet research)

AI is largely being trained by average people in spaces like social media... That's why it's not learning properly bc it's learning everything from the Internet (which most adults today know is full of misinformation and brain rot)

Nah they have as much funding as the government or their investor says they can have and it has to be used for whatever specific purpose their funder says... Very few scientists can actually fund their own research

I know ppl who served time for things they didn't even do simply bc they either couldn't afford a legal battle or bc they didn't have the evidence to prove their innocence... So no unless there's hard evidence proving it most sources will can say "alleged" without making it inaccurate...

Yup there's a reason Jasmine Crockett and Bernie Sanders got as much attention as they have (even tho the Bernie hype is seeming to slow down)

No fr I don't understand why ppl are calling compassion "soft/weak" when most of us were taught to be compassionate of others as children

If you ask me it's a big game of good cop bad cop with the Dems playing the good cops in the Republicans playing bad cop meanwhile the whole goal is to just exploit average people of their labor and resources

I also don't really understand making a sports team/athlete your entire personality 🤷🏼 but maybe that's bc I find fandoms to be tiring with how much gatekeeping and discourse exist within them...

It's never honestly made a lot of sense to me tbh even when I was actively trying to like sports but I'm also not a highly competitive person as I've seen where highly competitive personalities get you regarding social ties...
