It's 2026. Users shouldn't have to wonder if their words made it into the text box. Losing focus, dropping keystrokes, and overwriting text are problems we should have solved in the 1990s—not a quarter of the way into the 21st century. #UX #SoftwareDesign

The same goes for Apple. AI features are nice, but the basics still matter. A cursor should stay where I put it. A text box should respond immediately. I shouldn't have to fight the interface to write. Great software starts with getting the fundamentals right. #UX #SoftwareDesign #AI

Tech companies keep chasing the next shiny AI feature while ignoring the fundamentals. If the cursor is in a text box, it should stay there until I move it. I shouldn't have to fight the editor or pound on the keyboard just to type. Fix the core user experience before adding more features. #UX #AI

I bought Microsoft Word to own it, not lease it. Today it refused to edit my own documents because it wanted Microsoft 365. If software can take away functionality you paid for, do you really own it? Microsoft is history for me. Never again.
