I can’t keep going back to wishing things were like before when nothing changed between us. And I can’t handle all the mental turmoil I got from them from keeping this friendship alive. Having no friendship felt better than keeping them around. Anyways that’s how life is at the moment 🤷‍♀️

And yes I feel happier, my mental health is better. It was hard to end it in the first place as I was holding onto the tiniest hope things would go back to the way they were. But never did. Like, yes I miss them now, I miss the way things were before communication fell on the wayside.
