One of the character sheets shown off said "ChatGPT stated" right on it, the page is discussing south east asian men's facial hair. Rather than... y'know. Looking at a south east asian person or asking them... or doing any loving research most projects have artists do

I could be missing some, but I am pretty sure all the others have credits and/or you can tell they are the same style. That sheet looks really out of place composition wise and not like the other versions of that character either (Though I could just be tinfoil hatting over here lol)

Yeah that sheet in comparison to everything else shown at the panel looks so out of place. The rest of the sheets look professionally done and have artist credits on them. Not that one though! It's so strange

What riles me up even more, is the character that had the AI blurbs on it was a redesign of a character made by an artist who if memory is serving me right is Asian!! Why not consult them?? They WERE the lead character designer iirc. What the hell happened over the years

People are AI paranoid with art and I get it but yeah the problem here is that character sheet, the lack of care and research of SEA culture and the language they made up completely sanitizing the culture they claim is inspiring them 😭 It is SO frustrating and racist.

The ones on the left are oyster mushrooms. If you wanna clean them use a damp paper towel instead of rinsing them. They go best diced up in noodle dishes/stir fry/soups imo. They are super easy to soak up flavors

ofc, washing them is good. Just make sure to wash and just let it dry for a bit! Also they release a bit of liquid while cooking you can remove with paper towels

Ooo those look like lion mane top right?? You can cook them like steaks! (Or if you're vegan/vegetarian it's how you'd cook cauliflower like a steak lol!) Cut them into slightly thinner 'steaks' season how you like. Nonstick spray your pan well, cook until golden, then add butter to the pen
