4. Big thing to alway look out for is the way the jaws move. For most sharks the bottom jaw does not move. The teeth are always out. The top jaw is hidden unless the shark is biting. It extends from the upper pallet and meets the lower jaw. Otherwise the teeth are mostly hidden on the upper row.

3. Another issue with these videos of larger sharks is that most of them are ram ventilators. They cannot breathe unless they are constantly moving to push water through their gills. Hence they cannot just sit still and idly wait for a person to swim up and push them/pull out a comically large hook.

2. Most ai videos of sharks are big ones; great whites, tigers, hammerheads. Those animals are very heavy. There is no possible way a human can forcibly push these animals backwards with just a finger. You can guide them by placing your fingers/hands on their snouts, but you aren’t pushing them.

1: in real life, under water lighting is almost constantly changing and sparkling due to the natural waves. A lot of ai videos have a weird constant lighting effect in them that gives everything a pretty uniform brightness.

Sleeping tummy down is nice but not every night, there should be default accommodations for those with back fins/quills etc now I’m picturing infomertials for raised pillows to help with fins lmao

The harsh reality of shark critters. Normal pools and showers are a no go 😔 My gal sleeps in a saltwater pool, only way she can lay on her back without waking up with a sore dorsal fin.

They’re fairly run of the mill sharks, often in larger groups or schools for feeding. Their brown, almost bronze skin is really striking in the right lighting. Pretty cool critters.
