a propos of several things, I used to tell my 3 year old son fairy tales and myths on the drive to school. When I told him the Cyclops story, he said wow, that was a good one! Any more stories about that guy? And I said yeah, there are actually... 30 yrs later, he just took me to see the movie.

Republicans didn't always hate trans people, but they have always—since the 1950s—hated somebody: they hated Black people, then hippies, then feminists, then gay people, before turning to trans people. And they never really stopped hating all those other people too. Hate turns out the vote.
