Cheeky little set build this afternoon. A nice new backdrop is working well. (Not especially visible in these behind the scenes snaps, mind you) These will slot into the Maskwitches GMs Companion, which will be ready to ship with the Maskwitches ENnies Emporium stuff. #maskwitches

Jon at Handiwork GamesWow that happened really fast. I knew the dried plants would burn fast but I’m talking seconds. Luckily first AD Ben was on hand with water in case of emergency and to be hammering the shutter release while I managed the flames. Wonder what we got on film? (Nothing it’s digital ha ha)

I’d written a much longer thread about this topic but short version: I think making creative photos of your miniatures using some scenery and backdrops, and doing as much as possible “in camera” is very satisfying, authentic and wholesome. There's something about things you can hold in your hand.
