I don't (I kind of do, but I don't really) get why the Marc by Sofia documentary was panned or just ignored. Sometimes making art is boring. Details are boring. Process is boring. It's a little sad that the "work" part of art is devalued.

I'm Gen X and lived through the vinyl -> cassette -> CD -> download -> vinyl -> whatever-is-happening-now so the list is long. I think a lot of albums with bonus tracks are just unnecessary bloat. It started in the 90s and continues today.

Found this today, the cover art is pretty sweet. It's a mixtape by Josh Werner from 1999 when Internet speeds were still too slow for streaming so DJs still made tapes as calling cards.

Cleaning out browser tabs and found Stack Overflow sealed in amber.

What a surprise. According to the promo text the songs are from the same period as the final Sakamoto album which is absolutely lush and has only gotten better with time. 🎵 there’s a lead ‘single’ that is just mysterious.
