Without gender-affirming care I wouldn’t be able to have the breast surgery I need as a cisgendered woman. We all deserve the healthcare we need, without judgement, without the weight of the patriarchy, & without constraints on gender.

This is said with confidence, but it’s wrong. As a note on this note for Americans, Professor in America is also the senior non-managerial rank. Professor rankings in order: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, & finally Professor. And if you do it long enough you may get Emeritus status!

'Professor' is the senior non-managerial academic rank in the UK; what would be 'professors' at US institutions are 'lecturers' in UK.

There isn’t evidence to exclude them either. I had a student try to do a project on transgendered women in sports (clearly on the anti side). They needed 5 academic sources… they cited a retracted paper & the retraction, a bad-faith commentary to a good source, & twisted words of 2 excellent pieces.
Rodger Shermani don't believe anyone has "good-faith" concerns about trans women in sports in 2026. there's been too much time to hear the actual evidence, the actual people affected, and the role the debate plays in attempts to purge trans people from American life. anybody picking that side has made a choice
