PRHC is pleased to announce that the hospital’s Stroke Program has been awarded with Stroke Distinction by Accreditation Canada – formal recognition that PRHC has demonstrated national leadership in the provision of high-quality stroke care.

This month, PRHC celebrates the first anniversary of the introduction of an advanced nerve catheter procedure for patients undergoing knee surgery. Since June 2025, the nerve block procedure has benefitted 220 patients at PRHC and helped to reduce knee surgery wait times to one to two months.
