If I could make one responsible wish, I would ask to be self-employed and to live moderately well. I don't need to be wealthy, just to be comfortable and to keep doing what I love. Nothing sounds more bleak than doing manual labour for the benefit of massive corporations for the rest of my life.

This Friday I'm releasing an ambient electronic album entitled "End of the Line" under my project Buried in Desolation. Four tracks about transportation in a bleak future.

Forgot to post my July listening

I've been playing Halo Campaign Evolved, and as someone whose first PC game was Halo CE, this is very well done. There are some things about it I don't care for, but that's just personal preference. Definitely feels better than the last few Halo games.

In an effort to learn more about the country I reside in, I'm going to start researching interesting places around the country, then make videos about them. We'll see how it goes, but either way I'm already having a lot of fun learning about my area.

Absolutely hilarious hearing Julian Casablancas bash critics for being unable to "recognize art" after he himself released an album with AI-generated cover art and some of the worst music that has ever been written.

oh my god, I just got absurdly excited about designing the cover for my new ambient album. these are the things that excite me.

Trying to find a tripod for my phone that reaches 6ft and it seems like they're rather rare.

Kinda want to try making short films again. It's been like 14 years since I last did it and I miss it. I have no friends here though which will make it very challenging.

Currently wrapping up an album for my project Buried in Desolation. Trying to get it done by the next BCF, but we'll see. I don't even know what the genre of this album is supposed to be, I guess like ambient droning IDM, if that even makes sense

Been nearly half a year since I released this and I think I'm ready to say that it's the best thing I've done (so far). I'm honestly already itching to make more music like this, but I'm having to hold myself back so I can finish other projects. Definitely wanna do more vocals in the future.

Absolutely gutted about Sam Neill. Thought he was on the mend and doing well, would never have guessed he'd be going so soon. Rest in peace.

I've said this a few times before, but I'll never get over how COVID introduced the concept of wearing masks to the general populace, yet absolutely no one wears them when sick.

Trying to make a web page for something and I cannot do it. I *finally* got it looking decently on desktop. Then I open it on mobile and it is COMPLETELY fucking broken and nothing I do fixes it. Gotta step away for a while before because I'm about to fall asleep.
