When I was little, we’d get fries to feed the seagulls at the shipyard (it was the 90s). I sat on the roof of his pickup with my legs dangling through the sunroof. Once, he told me not to throw fries in his hair; I said I wasn’t. Turns out a seagull had flown overhead and pooped through the sunroof.

I don’t know if I have a single favorite, but I have one that we both laughed about, even years later:

I’m so glad you got that time with him and so sorry you and your sister had to go through that. I hope you can think back on happy memories of him.
