I don't know what happened here, but the mix on the new Cheekface album is just *not* doing it for me. It sounds like there's no room in the mix for any of the instruments or vocals to breathe, which is a wild departure from their previous work, and it honestly just kinda hurts my ears. :\

I'm honestly dumbstruck that not only was I able to find a customer service support phone number for Google, but that it wasn't 100% automated, AND I was on the phone with a human being on the other side in less than 3 minutes. On top of that they fixed my issue. How weirdly competent in 2026.
