Free Roam tracks from Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong Country, WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, Luigi's Mansion, and Flipnote Studio have been added to Mario Kart World's soundtrack on Nintendo Music!

There are two, "Attack! Bowser's Fury" and "Plessie Ride!". As you'd expect, those are instead listed as being from Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.

happened in my opinion. With them having now set the precedent that Special Release games don't take ages to be added, I see Splatoon Raiders getting one as a pretty direct sign that it's going to skip CDs too, at least until after it's been put on Nintendo Music.

I dunno... as time goes on Nintendo's only really reinforced that they're prioritizing Nintendo Music. Even a game like Echoes of Wisdom, which isn't even on Nintendo Music yet, is long past the point where a CD release would've happened, and in the pre-Nintendo Music era that would've 100%

I assume Mario Kart World's Free Roam tracks are the main point here, seeing as the original versions of New Super Mario Bros. U and Super Mario 3D World are acknowledged there but not Mario Kart 8.

Nah all of these arrangements have been around on the internet for some time. It's just that some of the tracks that only play during races can be pretty rare (mainly ones that are heavily location-based, like Bowser-related tracks) and so certain uploaders excluded them.

Not all of them, those from the previous four events (Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, and Star Fox) aren't part of this. If this was related to EoS I think they'd have announced it alongside the event and had it be in effect until the end.

Spoiler prevention can't be used on Special Releases but the tracks in this Special Release are currently *only* in this playlist so it's not a big issue I'd think.

Nine tracks from Splatoon Raiders have been added to Nintendo Music!

The way Nintendo Music handles Mario franchise protagonists (Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Toad, Wario) is that the only tracks they get from the games they lead are the Nintendo Music Selects tracks. From Nintendo's perspective, the Mario Series Selects playlist is effectively the Mario character playlist.

I'll have to start keeping an eye on the web app's version number, looking at the HTML it appears to be on version 1.1.0 currently.

Nintendo Music has been updated to version 1.6.3, but no changes were detailed. The playlist limit has not been increased, despite it appearing to already be impacting official playlists... I think it might be safe to conclude that they aren't planning to increase it anytime soon, unfortunately.

I think they're simply avoiding Double Dash to not have it take attention away from Mario Kart World (which is also why I highly doubt they have any plans of giving it a standalone release either).
