It is cool that Lynch turned David Bowie into a giant kettle. Like that’s a cool thing to do.

Mad Men is probably the best TV show of all time and I don’t think it’s close. I mean, Twin Peaks is up there too obviously but like. Mad Men doesn’t have like half a season that sucks shit. I gotta see The Sopranos though.

The "canonical" debut of Bugs Bunny was released on this day in 1940, the Tex Avery short A Wild Hare. There are a couple sorta-Bugs-Bunny cartoons before this one, but it's fair to view this as his first. Happy 86th birthday, Bugs.

I’m not saying Bloodsport is a masterpiece or that director Newt Arnold was a secret master auteur, but my wife read a list of some of the movies he worked on as assistant director and they include Sorcerer, The Godfather Part II, Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid, Blade Runner. That’s a career, man!

The plan for the day is to break down the dining room table, take down and pack the posters and art we have, and clear out the living room closet. We are in full Move Mode.
