I dunno, mocking Trump for deciding not to bomb Iran (this time) feels kinda misguided to me. Not bombing Iran (again) feels like the correct choice.

In Utero is unquestionably one of the greatest records ever created. In my view, it is Kurt Cobain’s finest work. Yet “Pennyroyal Tea” seems out of place. It just feels so try-hard to me, it’s always a skip; get me to “Radio Friendly…” As if I have any standing to step to Kurt. RIP.

Dodgers visited the Trump White House in 2025, prior to winning the second of their back-to-back championships. They also visited back in 2020, when Joe Biden occupied the mansion. Would it have been cooler if they hadn’t? Sure. But I don’t think it stands as an endorsement of anything.

I understand not finding any particular wrestling program compelling. WWE is weirdly MAGA-coded and kind of boring. So I just haven't been watching it. But complaining about the booking is sort of odd to me. Would it be more compelling if it always went the way you hoped and predicted?

I’m delighted there is plenty of pro wrestling to watch without having to support the very MAGA-coded WWE. Furthermore, I hate the “E”. Caught a brief glimpse of Smackdown while channel surfing, saw Jey USO v. Ja’Von Evans, and realized that my FOMO around the Fed is misplaced. Nothing to see here.

Israel’s next move will be illuminating. I’m just gonna say it, though: huzzah for “peace”! Still, crediting Trump for peace is like giving an arson credit for putting out a fire they started. I’ve also seen reports that Trump is releasing 25 billion in Iranian assets. So zip it about Obama, MAGA.
