I lucked out at the thrift store last week and picked up both for a little over $10 CAD before taxes! They're on my list to play, but GTA IV and the Episodes from Liberty City are on deck first.

2/2 Like, Burnout Paradise and Midnight Club: Los Angeles are still amazing for arcade racers, and while the button layout in Gran Turismo 5 & 6 isn't my cup of tea, the games themselves are solid. Really looking forward to when I can get an SSD to upgrade it!

Admittedly, my standards for videogames aren't super high. But I have been deeply and pleasantly surprised at how well the PS3's library has held up. There's some stuff that is 100% of the time (looking at you Army of Two), but the racing games and Arkham series are straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 1/2

I wonder what the setting will be for the inevitable UFC/Crypto partnership. Will they partner with Affliction for an old school vibe?

8/8 Now, I'm not saying here that Trevor is "good" or "misunderstood". Just that his potential background is more comprehensive and interesting than the impossible one he tells, but in his post-fugue state, he actually can't remember properly what he was like. Anyways, just a #GTA5 thought.

7/8...him fully back into reality. But not as the previous Trevor who was trying to be "better". This new Trevor embraces the violence. The "way of life". He partially manufactures a background that supports it, embellishing his violent actions in the past to criminal levels. He is reinvented.

6/8..., and spirals bad. Loses track of time, tries to apply his skills to make ends meet, but goes shady fast. So, if he's 21 in 1983, then he's 28 or so when he meets Michael. Older, but still seeing himself as a "kid" because he's dipping in an out of a fugue state. Michael, ironically, snaps...

5/8...weapons, and Canada divested of those in 1984, and ceased training for nuclear bombs in 1971. But Trevor isn't in his 40s in 1990, so he likely remembers the chance to train using nuclear "Genie" rockets used by the CF-101 Voodoo until '84. Which keeps this timeline clean. - Trevor spirals...

GTA V is always low key on my mind, and I tried adding up Trevor's background and it's wild. Stuff I determined: - Trevor is older than Michael, he definitely wasn't "20" when he met Michael. - His childhood was abusive, but he consistently tried to be "better" until his post-military era. 1/8

There's been a lot of live action DC shows, but Black Lightning and Stargirl have been my favourites. The DC universe has so many options to explore, and to be honest, it's really refreshing when they hit up the spaces outside the core Justice League stuff.

6/6 The war is epic, dragging humanity from their stagnation. But in the end, there are no winners. Humanity is broken and more susceptible to the warp than ever. The Men of Stone are sacrificed, the loss of their repository of knowledge ending human advancement.

4/6... level of nightmare can happen when humans believe that even automata can be twisted by chaos. They immediately broadcast the information, getting the word out before they're destroyed. The effect is immediate. Already dissatisfied with their enslavement to an increasingly indolent...
