Lake was incredible, rowed stroke seat (my fave) in my favorite boat with people I enjoy rowing with. Five stars, despite the early hours.

You know what wouldn't have happened to me if there was universal healthcare? I wouldn't have been dragged into the financial office at Kaiser to pay $12,000 out of pocket while my boys were still in the NICU, I was still recovering from a c-section, and I was in the throes of PPD/PPA.
Larry LevittI see lots of mentions of the cost of Medicare for All. But, it actually wouldn't necessarily increase health spending, and could actually decrease it. What it would do -- which would be controversial -- is redistribute health care spending from premiums and out-of-pocket costs to taxes.
