We do know all seven. Took six months to trap them all (was ten then, we adopted one and greatest neighbor ever adopted two others). That was five years ago. We’ve not missed one day of feeding and loving on them. And never will. They matter to us, because we all matter or none of us do.

Home. And that was rude today. 100 degrees and doing search warrants in the full sun. Sweated through shirt (that was once pale blue but now darker cuz it’s soaked) AND sweated through pants and probably shoes and maybe my bones. Wow. That was anti fun

It took ten years before we had more than a handful of tiny sad olives. This year is THE year of the Olive.

Eggplants (both Japanese and the globe kind) have so many babies. I’m running a plant baby day care up in here.

Lemon-ey has around 80 babies. They will yellow as they ripen, ripe around Thanksgiving or a bit after.

In its 11th year now, our olive tree “Olive-ey” is covered in olives. Actually enough to consider harvesting them and brining them in a few months.

Checking the shed-whulll, I see that my last summer class ends August 9th. And fall classes don’t start until…August 19th..whatever will I do with 9 days, goodness me, an embarrassment of riches with so much time between grinding classes…ooooh
