Prior to spring these boys had never been off a leash, let alone a small housing estate with only a fenced grass area circled by concrete path being their only area to play. It’s a joy to watch them run together, freedom of space encouraging the best in them, as open spaces do us all! #TheCampfire
#TheCampfire Went to the Oregon Country Fair this summer ~ first time in a long while. Held on 500 acres of protected land, it's a gathering like no other. A fair adrift in an eccentric Avalon or something, a place of hope, optimism, acceptance, where artists and dreamers rule, and love always wins.
With all the grocery produce/greens issues these days, it’s nice to have a backyard garden to enjoy fresh, healthy dishes in the summer months. In fact, I just learned you can eat the (vitamin rich) radish greens as part of a salad. #gardening 📸: mine

Only ever experienced true PTSD a couple of times. Now is one of those times. I keep experiencing terrifying flashbacks to last year’s Los Angeles fires. Scary. Had to pack the Hounds and kittens in my car and flee our apartment, assuming it would burn down. Terrifying stuff. #Spokane #wildfires
