I know that almost no one in the US really loves thinking about The Bus, but our new report from @cplusc.bsky.social and @jstehlin.bsky.social is outstanding. It would be pretty cheap and easy for many cities across the US to make buses fast and free, reducing emissions and costs for working people
This Lithuanian plan to invest in bog restoration for both climate and national security looks quite good. Using defense spending for actual defense- against both aggression and warming - is much better than standard military greenwashing or using climate as an excuse to increase war spending.
