MaPa’s perspectives are subjective and limited in the comic, them being dogs is a narrative asset because theyre the reader’s companions exploring the world, so I don't think the main characters being canines is totally limiting necessarily

neither Ma or Pa are safe in the sense that, Ma is designed to be a cute poodle "for girls" acting like a hood wannabe and Pa is a he/she female character with a male voice. I also think the concept of a warrah that survived and its implications are the opposite of safe, white or corporate
