Finally able to draw again! Phew... I had to deal with a lot of health issues these couple of months, but it seems that I'm able to do what I love again! (Even if it's a little slow, but it's something!)

Pigeon update: The bebes are flying. I was so worried when one of them disappeared yesterday! Then today the nest was empty... For a bit. Then the whole family flew back. Both of the bebes made it!!

Couple of good news, folks! First off, I'm feeling better to consistently draw again! The other good news: The pigeon family in my window sill is also looking strong! Congratulations to Cookie and Cream for raising two sturdy chicks - which are growing up real fast...

Longgg ago in the Nelson Atkins Museum in Kansas City... I made a study of this BIG wooden statue in the Japan section.

Phew! I'm out of the hospital and my healing seems to be going at a nice pace. Can't wait to post drawings again!! 🎉 Also, I think I should open commissions soon... maybe next week if all goes well??

I'd share pics of them, but the window they picked to live by is very blurry. (Also, I bet they'd want some privacy hahaha) The suspected mama is "Cookie", whose feathers are all dark. And the suspected papa is "Cream", who is mostly white. Best of luck to them! I wanna see them bebes🐣

Got a cute little story to share during my arm recovery hiatus: I think I might be getting some new little neighbors! A couple of pigeons moved in to my windowsill, made a nest from a few sticks, and are taking turns staying put there... Maybe they laid an egg? (1/2)
