re: gas prices. I just returned from a road trip, London to Italy and back. 1 US gallon=3.785 liters. I was in Europe so paid in Euros, currently €1 = $1.17. Using these conversion figures, the price per gallon on the road ranged from $8.81 (Total Energy) to $10.89 (Shell).

Still life, November 1993, a test Polaroid for an art & gift gallery promo. The vessel was green; the top was red with a yellow ring at the bottom. A light green filter heightened the contrast between the parts of the vase sitting on a red cloth. In the reflection are the north windows of the loft.
