Yet again, economists confusing planning approvals with construction commencements! DA’s are not “approved for construction” - that’s the seperate, subsequent Construction Certificate (CC) process. Even that doesn’t mean a start. DA approvals just boost land $, whatever mythical targets claimed.

Canberra’s metro line - Australia’s best light rail project, now being extended, first through city centre to the lake front, & then hopefully to Woden. The remade & beautifully landscaped Northbourne Ave is the model for remaking Adelaide Ave as an urban boulevard - as the Griffins always intended.

NSW Premier Minns continues his divisive rhetoric & pro-developer agenda, lacking any semblance of responsible city making in the public interest. All he’s done is hugely boost land speculation for existing wealthy landowners & developers, locking out future generations. Exact opposite of his claims
