Pseudo-Philosophy = Scientists making crude philosophical claims about consciousness/free will with no knowledge of: (i) nuanced distinctions between different views (ii) arguments developed over decades in academic literature (iii) conceptual tools for evaluating them properly

So it's just about how we define words now. I'm a 'physicalist' if we define that terms as broadly as Galen Strawson does. But the 'physicalism' I think we can rule out is that one that says fundamental reality can be completely captured in the terms of physical science.
