I would say 3D All-Stars is the most worthless piece of Mario media now in terms of unique content, but unfortunately, widescreen support for Sunshine and like three upscaled textures in 64 barely edge out against Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition's "an SNES ROM on a Wii disc with zero changes"

DUCKTALES (2017) SEASON 1 not sure how everyone else puts episodic shows like this on these media threads, but for this one i'm doing it by season REALLY good! Great characters, sick animation, fun stories and villains, I loved pretty much every episode. can't wait to jump right into season 2

i haven't seen the anime but I can buy that. I think the thing for me is that Greninja, Lucario, and Incineroar are pretty humanoid so it feels a little off seeing multiple of them. Meanwhile Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Pichu, Squirtle, etc. look more creature-esque in a way the sidekick role suits them

it's based on the clock, but this is actually supposed to be the scoreboard lol

King of Rot rightfully gets a ton of praise but this fit goes super hard too

In the "Waltz of the Boos" theme from Super Mario Galaxy, the pizzicato arpeggio in the beginning and throughout the song spells out "DEADEAD DEADEAD". Whether the usage of the sequence "DEAD" for a ghostly theme is deliberate or merely a fitting coincidence is unknown.

i might make more stadiums based on console UI (Wii has a boatload of material to work with given all its channels lol) but I've also been thinking about adding consoles / controllers / accessories as items. What they'd do, idk yet, but it'd be really funny at least

I miss that era in the 2000s where they would make a kid's game for both console and handheld except the handheld version would just be a completely different game with the same title and release date. That was really funny.

still genuinely can't believe a mainstream Mario game acknowledges WarioWare like this and even if it's only one music track and one (and a half) costume, i feel them acknowledging WarioWare at ALL is such a rarity that it needs to be given its flowers
