Sad to hear about the passing of Kaylee Hottle the other week. Her character was one of my favorite parts of the Monsterverse. 💔

There is 90s anime discourse happening here tonight. I feel like some aren't quite old enough to have experienced being a fan in the 90s. People keep referencing Toonami, but I'm pretty sure Sailor Moon first aired on CN in 1999. There's several years before that where anime was for the weirdos.

I'm loving the 2026 Great Teacher Onizuka series. I love that they didn't remake it, and it's just a continuation of the same story with the same actor who is now in his 50s. Even some of the OG students from 1998 pop up! Absolutely worth the watch if you've seen the 90s show.

Every time I get sad I remember that we're getting another Monsterverse movie next year and then I become happy again.

I have yet to read any positive experiences coming out of AX from this past week (outside of the horny LADS booth). Maybe I'm just getting older and becoming out of touch, but anime cons just aren't the same anymore. Not to mention the cost of them have insanely skyrocketed.
