Yes 😂 I do promise I actually listen to my body and stop the second I start feeling an ache. But I’m also impatient and don’t like sitting still (just like my mother)

Exactly 😂 No but honestly tho the scars are healing really nicely (I heal very fast) and I haven’t been taking painkillers for over 2 weeks now bc I don’t have pain. So I sometimes just also forget I shouldn’t be doing something

(She’s a really good and responsible nurse btw and was excellent when she looked after me, but we are also both very stubborn people 😂)

It probably doesn’t help that my mother is a nurse and was my caretaker for the first 1.5 week after surgery, and has also been giving me advice 😅 She worked in a rehab department before also, so her attitude is just “don’t be afraid to try, just listen to your body and stop when it hurts”.

I haven’t read the books but I know all about Armand’s backstory which is why I’m even more intrigued and am psychoanalysing the heck out of him 😂 I’m also loving all the Devil’s Minion stuff (the only chapter I did read)

I’m realising more and more that he’s similar to David Haller in many ways. Perhaps that’s why I love him so much

I have never once met a character who has this much need for control and has this much power and at the same time loves being subordinate (until it no longer works for him), while also being a manipulative bastard and at the same time a traumatised and lonely individual. More layers than an onion.
