Yep. As a small farmer & big believer in conservation: lots of "farm conservation easements" are, unfortunately, scams that kneecap agriculture. Not help it. It's the same hustle as farm subsidies. "Let's throw free money at landowners. So they don't have to treat farming like a real job."
