Yep. One of the reasons Americans can coo over the services and products in Japan for example is that Japanese consumers basically have higher expectations and are more willing to vote with their wallets.

TrumpReposterMy rule for approval ratings is that 38-40 percent approval is a "floor" that reflects locked-in partisan support since presidents of either party (Biden and Trump in this case) rarely drop below that. And if ratings drop below that point, that should be an orange warning light.

Everyone wants USMCA/CUSMA/T-MEC to be renewed, including Trump. But we can't ignore the possibility that Trump has and will continue to handle the negotiations in such a way that legitimately jeopardizes one of the world's most successful regional trade agreements. My take on the USMCA renewal:
