I'm just wondering where the flight attendants are in all this. Not to put more stress on them, but reporting and/or restraining unruly passengers is an unpleasant but necessary part of the job.

While I oppose the ban, I’d rather send my daughter to a HBCU that bars her from wearing a bonnet to class than a HWCU that bars her from having many Black classmates, organizing Black events, or reading Black books in class.

All this smoke for HBCUs, but to be clear: it is much more dire for Black students at historically White colleges and universities (HWCUs). These HWCUs are not enrolling many Black students, undermining Black faculty, and defunding Black Studies, diversity offices and BSUs.

Perhaps the Office of the Mayor should sue.
