For Heslinga, it’s all about distracting from other issues. “Bike lanes come up, and it’s a really easy way to make everyone start talking about something else” The UCP should be focused on healthcare, education, data breaches, etc. - not overreaching into local municipal matters.

🚨 Epcor work is coming to 83 Ave between 106 and 108 Street on July 21 and 22, weather permitting, between 9:30 a.m. And 3:30 p.m., impacting the bike lane. The detour: EB cyclists on 83 Avenue detoured to 85 Avenue at 108 Street WB cyclists on 83 Avenue detoured to 84 Avenue at 107 Street

With the Art Walk on Whyte Ave, folks are getting where they need to go efficiently and safely using the scramble intersections. We wish the city would reconsider their decision to remove the scramble crossings. Tell your councillor what you think about it! 💭
